Dangerous Goods by air

AC&T are working with Training Team of Pease Pottage West Sussex and have developed a one-day training workshop covering both dry ice product and safety subjects and the necessary understanding of the rules and regulations that apply when sending dry ice, or products refrigerated by dry ice, such as biological samples, by air transport.

Training Team are a Civil Aviation Authority accredited training provider and delegates successfully completing the workshop written test will receive a certificate covering the aspects of compliance with the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations.

The knowledge gained from this workshop will enable delegates not only to complete the necessary risk assessments and work procedures under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations but also to fully understand their responsibilities when packing and despatching dry ice and samples refrigerated with dry ice.

This workshop would be appropriate for clinical research teams and others involved in the packing and shipping of Category A or Category B biological substances or patient samples.
